Hiiii... I'm Nicole. I was in my profile, when I clicked Detroit Rock City under movies and VOILA a whole display of lovely bloggers appeared. And I went through a lot, and you looked cool so I went to read your blog... and I just wanted you to know that "Slow Ride" is pretty entertaining on Guitar Hero 3 :D But really slow (hahaha).
Sorry, that's just super random and I had to let you know =]
Annie Hall- Yes, yes, just gotten round to seeing it! Gorgeous film, loads of excellent quotes- "Hello? I forgot my Mantra." I like how the relationship dynamic kept swapping, and Woody Allen is so small and cute! I seem to like small, jewish men.
Me, You and Everyone We Know- Should be called A Softer World: The Movie. The film takes ordinary little everyday situations and makes them so important and soft, like someone is whispering into your ear :)
The Science of Sleep- So good! some people find it pretentious, I really don't see it in that way. The film looks at dreams in a very interesting way, blurring the line between reality and fantasy. Plus Stephane is so beautiful! Stephanie kept snubbing him though. Not very nice.
High Fidelity- I can't work out if I liked it or not. Im not usually a fan of the style, when the protagonist talks to the camera. Jack Black is ace though!
Starter for Ten- Film set in the 80's about a boy starting university. Got me looking forward to moving in, freshers week should be a little more exciting than the spectacular "Tart's and Vicars" party. Has Dominic Cooper :), stereotypical bad boy.
Fatal Attraction- classic that I felt I needed to see- Good but unsettling, where the term "Bunny Boiler" comes from.
Deck the Halls- SHIT. I only rented it because I saw a snippet of it on TV and thought it looked funny. Also the added strangeness of Matthew Broderick (SJP/Carries husband) playing Kristin Davis's (Charlottes) husband. Just feels weird.
Misery- Psycho woman, Kathy Bates portrays her brilliantly.
The Graduate- I loved it. Another classic that I have just gotten around to seeing! Great Cinematography and Dustin Hoffman is the cutest little man.
Mallrats- Because I am in love with Jason Lee, in his prime in this movie. The film maybe a little too cheesy, and Jeremy London is shit. (not like his gorgeous brother in Dazed!)
